The last book that I chose to review from Blogging For Books was Green Smoothies, written by Fern Green.
“Kickstart your metabolism, fire up your mind, and promote whole-body health.

Energize your day with 66 easy-to-follow, quick, and tasty recipes. Learn simple ways to incorporate more greens into your diet every day.”
I was very intrigued by the book to begin with as I’ve always liked the thought of having a daily smoothie to boost health. However, I’ve never really been a fan of making them as I just never know what to put in them, and what benefits certain ingredients have for my body.
The book has 3 main sections: Juices, Smoothies & Shots and Milks. There are a lot of combinations to make in this book and each one visually shows the reader what they need to include, and what health benefits the drink has.
I haven’t gotten around to making any yet but the ones in this blog post are the ones I’m going to be making first. I love anything with bananas and berries! 😀
The book also includes a 7-day juice detox, which sounds delicious but I don’t think I would ever try it as I have always been a little dubious of anything that doesn’t let you eat for a while! I love my food too much 🙂
So now I would really like to know if any of you make juices or smoothies!
What are your favourite ingredients?
Have you ever done a juice detox?
I received this book from the Blogging for Books program in exchange for this review.
