Seven photos from my week 🙂
1. We found some Cadbury’s Easter treats at our local Target store. We bought them to try and they are quite close to the UK versions but still not the same 😦
2. I bought a lovely little photo album for my instant photos and it arrived all ripped and broken! I will be getting my refund!

4. Our neighbour is going on a carb & sugar free diet so he brought everything he didn’t want round to us. This is just a selection. Adam is looking forward to eating the spray cheese. I quite like the look of the Girl Scout cookies!
5. Adam learnt a lesson this week – Don’t leave your nice socks on the floor!
6. I got my YSL product through the post from Influenster to review! I got a mascara and love it already 🙂
7. I have cut a zippy top out ready to be constructed today! I tried to get it out of a metre of fabric but came up short so I’ve had to patch it on the back shoulder. It’s not too noticeable!

Don’t worry, you’re not missing out on the creme egg front. They taste nasty in the UK now that the Americans got hold of Cadbury and replaced the yummy chocolate with some vile tasting “chocolate”!!
I had heard about that but was hoping that the change wouldn’t be too noticeable! The ones I picked up over here are quite similar to the ‘old’ UK ones then but they still aren’t quite right! It’s been good for me dieting though as I don’t really like any US chocolate :-0
Cheese spray? What on earth is that like – it sounds disgusting! Maisy doesn’t seem to be at all repentant after her sock destroying spree. Such pretty floral fabric for your top – I’m a sucker for anything like that:)
It does sound disgusting doesn’t it! Adam has now admitted that he ‘daren’t ‘ try it 😀 Maisy sees all destructive behaviour as a game… she loves the chasing game when we are trying to get socks back!
Cheese spray is mostly consumed by children at summer camps–doesn’t need refrigeration. But he gave you grits! Yummmm!! I need to make some when I get back cooking.
We still haven’t tried the cheese spray yet! :-0 I’m still unsure of grits too! They seem to be very popular down here in Alabama but I just can’t take to them!
Sigh. Yes, we Americans are really, really good at producing carb/fat/salt/sugar delivery systems that make a lot of money (spray cheese and wax “chocolate” being two excellent examples), not so good at producing quality products. 😦 They’re out there, but you have to work harder to find them.
On the plus side, loving the fabric for your blouse–looks very cute and spring-y!

I have noticed that ‘fresh’ food is harder to find….we do have a Fresh Market near us but I would prefer a proper farmer’s market really!
I think I’ll put a couple of pounds on after reading your post, I now am in need of a chocolate fix! Our american friend flies home tomorrow and he’s stocked up on flakes and hobnobs!
Haha! When I’m next home I will be stocking up! Our parents brought a stash of Dairy Milk & Galaxy with them when they visited at Christmas but I have run out now!
The fabric for your top looks pretty 🙂 I’ve heard they put crappier ingredients in U.S. candy vs U.K. candy, so maybe that’s it.
