Sunday Sevens #40

Sunday Sevens time again!
Here are 7 photos from my week that I have managed to scramble together. ๐Ÿ™‚

1. I pushed myself to make another dress last Sunday to make it my fourth of the week!! This is a sneak peek as it will be blogged about later this week.

2. I started my entry for separates contest over on The Monthly Stitch.

3. Adam went on a fishing trip and brought back lots of red snapper & grouper for our freezer. I’ve laughed about this all week because he told me that he had brought us 40lbs of fish home, I didn’t question it as it looked like a lot as he brought it through…but there was only 20lb when I weighed it! Do all men exaggerate? He told me that he caught the biggest fish of the day too…I’m not sure whether or not to believe him! Haha!

4. Somebody has earned the nickname Maisy Menace this week.

5. We sent another contract back to UK for our house sale. I’m not holding out on this one completing either. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

6. Adam had another work trip out this week so we got in bed early with a book, a cuppa & some cuddles.

7. We headed down to the Bay for little dog walk and some outfit photography.

If you are here for the first timeโ€ฆ I’m going to give you the low down on the Sunday Sevens blog series. ย Each week, we do things that don’t necessarily warrant a full blog post. ย You may have made a nice meal, grabbed some bargains on a shopping trip, had a family day out, spotted some beautiful scenery or just done something you feel you want to share. ย A Sunday Sevens blog post is the place to share those things. ย You take 7 images from your week and post them every Sunday with a small description. ย Tag your post using #sundaysevens on your blog and social media. ย I also pin the posts onto the Sunday Sevens Pinterest Board.

    1. Thanks! I’m still quite surprised that I managed to get a few made…I’m not sure if that level of productivity will ever happen again though…

  1. All of your Alabama photos just seem to be getting more and more beautiful at the moment! I have been amazed by how much sewing you have done this week, and can’t wait to see what you come up with next week! I’ll cross my fingers about this house sale. How much fish have you eaten so far and how did you end up cooking it?!

    1. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s even more beautiful in real life ๐Ÿ˜‰
I’ve eaten 3 fillets but Adam was ‘scared to death’ (yes, he actually said that!) of eating the chunk that I dared to put on his plate…I’m sure you can imagine! I just popped it in the oven in a little foil pouch with herbs & lime juice for 15 mins! It was gorgeous! Fish tacos for tea tonight ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. That’s a whopper! I just love fish, when I was younger I had a boyfriend who caught me some rainbow trout – tasty, but not quite as impressive as your fellas catch ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. It is! I wish I had taken a photo of the fish before I cut it into portions…they were huge! Unfortunately, Adam doesn’t really like fish :-/ I’m hoping he develops a taste for it now!

  3. There’s nothing better than fresh fish! The “fish tales” that accompany it seem to be a common phenomenon; now you’ll know to divide the claimed weight in half for next time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hopefully the cuddles made up for the bad doggie behavior this week!

    1. Haha yes I will definitely be weighing it before sharing next time! Cuddles always make up for bad behaviour…she’s even cuter when she’s sad!

  4. Ha ha! “You should’ve seen the one that got away” is made for moments like this! Hope you have better luck with your house contract this time around. What exactly did Maisy chew up?
