Sunday Sevens #73

I’m sat writing this post, thinking about how busy I’ve been this week with one thing and another…and I didn’t take any photos of the exciting bits. Hhhmmpphh! Anyway, I’ve still managed to fumble seven photos together for you!

1. I made a Breakfast Bonanza in the slow cooker but forgot to do it the night before so we had it for our dinner instead ๐Ÿ™‚

2. I finished my Frances dress! Woohoo! Full blog here ๐Ÿ™‚

3. Little Buzz is the cutest little cuddly thing!

4. I spent the evening making a pocket letter to send out.

5. I made a pot full of cheesy cauliflower soup! Yum!

6. Both dogs went to the groomers and came back very white! I’ve had to take Buzz’s neckerchief off though as it’s given him a pink ring of fur around his neck :-0

7. Cleaning duties on a Saturday whilst Adam was at work. I need some tips on how to get these marks off the stainless stove things. These have already been soaked in soapy water. I am not used to this type of hob at all…it’s like something from the seventies but not…everyone here has these hobs!!

  1. Does Maisy know she’s getting less exposure than Buzz. They’ll be trouble if she finds out ๐Ÿ˜‰ Is Buzz’s bandana different to Maisy’s? Odd if not that it’s turning him pink and not her.

    1. Haha I think she’s realised that she is! She’s definitely coming for more cuddles this week…maybe it’s just a plot to get more photos on the blog! Ha! Yes Maisy had a green bandana, and it didn’t turn her green!

  2. Try making a paste with sodium bicarbonate and spread over the stains on the hob. Leave overnight and then wipe off. Hope this helps.

  3. They look like puppies again when they’ve been to the groomer’s, don’t they? My two act daft for a couple of hours, too, as if the trim has taken years off them. We’ve got an induction hob and I would never go back to anything less. Cleaning is a doddle so I pity you the horrible electric rings! Cheesy cauliflower soup – mmmm!

    1. They do, they both have a mad hour when they get back too! We had a glass induction hob back in the UK and I could just wipe it with one movement…I HATE these cookers we have over here!

    1. I really like making the pocket letters, there’s so many crafty things you can do with them! You will have to let me know if you try the cauliflower soup ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Your pups are so cute! And the slower cooker breakfast for dinner looks yummy as does the soup. You have been rather busy. Try a baking soda paste to scrub drip pan fro your stove. Let it set for a little while to help soften it up.

    1. Thank you for that suggestion Robyn, I’ll give that a go ๐Ÿ™‚ The breakfast and soup were very yummy – I would recommend giving both a try!

  5. Both dogs look super white and extra adorable after their groomer’s trip – straight off a calendar of Westies! Your home cooking sounds delicious – I always like the idea of a slow cooker & arriving home to a hot meal! As you’ll know, cleaning really isn’t my forte…๐Ÿ˜ฌ

    1. Haha…yes I know you don’t like cleaning! I think you would like a slow cooker though, there’s loads of easy veggie meals you can do in them too!:-)
