Oooooh Postcards!

I think I am the only person that I know of who gets excited over postcards!  Yes, that’s right, real excitement!  I love them ❤  I wrote about Postcrossing and Swap-bot a few months ago.  I have now started my own little postcard collection.  I select some to keep and have also got ones that I send out.  I recently got a few sets bought for me to send, but I honestly don’t think that I can send them to other people….is that sad?! Rhetorical question…please don’t answer!

Until I started looking, I never really realised that you could buy books of postcards or collections.  I always thought that they only came individually. :-/  My first postcard book came from Amazon as a ‘nearly new’ book, and it has Westies in it!  Who wouldn’t love a postcard with a Westie on!

My First Influenster VoxBox #FrostyVoxBox

SONY DSC
A few weeks ago, I received my first VoxBox from Influenster.  Influenster is a social review site, where you can write and search for product reviews.  I have found it quite useful when buying certain things.  I will always have a quick look on Influenster to read the product reviews.  Reviews are completed on just about anything; shops, makeup, beauty products, food, appliances etc. If you write reviews on here, you are awarded with points that go towards certain badges.  The more points, badges and tasks you do, the more likely you are to get a questionnaire to see if you are suitable for a product testing VoxBox.  Sharing reviews on social media also helps too…the more followers you have across the board increases your social impact.

Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 9!

After a little Christmas break, we are back with our ninth link party!  Christmas has passed and I know that the tidying up and sorting has already happened in our apartment.  How long do you keep your presents & decorations out?  Our tree is still up but we have put our gifts and cards away!  Our parents are across from the UK and are with us for another week.  We have some activities planned over the next few days, including plenty of eating and shopping.  I am looking forward to January so that I can get on with some crafting…I have plenty of projects whizzing around in my head!

I hope that you have all had a Merry Christmas and I would like to wish you a very happy New Year 😀

Creating A Cozy Bedroom: Guest Post by Modernize

7 Ideas for Creating a Cozy Bedroom

Bedrooms are the space most people spend the most time in. They’re a personal space ideal for expressing yourself in any way you want. Most of all, bedrooms are a person’s sanctuary. So here are some ideas to make your space extra cozy:

1. A Shaggy Rug

Your bed might be the warmest, toastiest thing in the world every morning, but the floor doesn’t always want to agree. Save yourself from that cold shock by waking up to a nice fuzzy rug beneath your feet.
