Ive had this cookbook from Blogging For Books for a while now & I just haven’t gotten around to reviewing it on the blog yet. I chose to review Country Cooking from a Redneck Kitchen as I’m always interested in the Southern cooking style, especially when it comes to home cooked food & grilling. I initially flicked through it, like every other cookbook I own, and chose a couple of recipes that appealed to me.
The last book that I chose to review from Blogging For Books was Green Smoothies, written by Fern Green.
“Kickstart your metabolism, fire up your mind, and promote whole-body health.
Discover the health-boosting benefits of smoothies, juices, tonics, and nut milks. Find the perfect juice to help detoxify your body, enhance your digestion, or invigorate your metabolism. Energize your day with 66 easy-to-follow, quick, and tasty recipes. Learn simple ways to incorporate more greens into your diet every day.”
I was very intrigued by the book to begin with as I’ve always liked the thought of having a daily smoothie to boost health. However, I’ve never really been a fan of making them as I just never know what to put in them, and what benefits certain ingredients have for my body.
