Thankfully We haven’t had any snow down here in Alabama- it’s actually quite sunny outside! If you do have snow, I hope that it hasn’t caused too many problems for you and you are able to enjoy it. Family and friends back in the UK had quite a bit of snow last week too so I am quite jealous that I haven’t been able to make snow angels 🙁 Hopefully, you will have all been busy enough to have a couple of posts to link up.
Last week was super busy for us at home, so I publicly apologising for lack of social media and blog posts! We are currently selling our house back in the UK and we totally underestimated how complicated it would be! We are hoping that all the paperwork is now done and dusted, for now anyway! In between emails and phone calls, I managed to get a couple of items made and we had a lovely Saturday by the bay.
Keep linking up and showing off your talents! I love spending time reading all the things you guys are sharing with us… thank you!
Here are seven photos from my week. Don’t forget to join in next week and use the tag #sundaysevens 🙂
1. I only brought 2 pairs of everyday shoes to the US with me; 2 pairs of well worn Vans pumps. One pair got extremely wet in rainy New Orleans and stunk, so I washed them and because they were hairy zebra print…they melted and all of the hairs fell off 🙁 My second pair were a beautiful tan pump with pink/purple aztec prints on the heel…I ripped them last week! Anyway, I managed to get 3 new pairs :-D.
Bedrooms are the space most people spend the most time in. They’re a personal space ideal for expressing yourself in any way you want. Most of all, bedrooms are a person’s sanctuary. So here are some ideas to make your space extra cozy:
1. A Shaggy Rug
Your bed might be the warmest, toastiest thing in the world every morning, but the floor doesn’t always want to agree. Save yourself from that cold shock by waking up to a nice fuzzy rug beneath your feet.
This week, we have all been busy sharing little bits of Christmas with you all… you may notice that our hostess projects for this week are themed because it’s almost CHRISTMAS!! I am preparing for our parents and my brother to visit for 3 weeks. Though they are not staying with us, we have still tried to be as Christmassy as possible. Adam’s parents arrive tonight and mine arrive tomorrow with my brother. :-0 Next week, we are skipping a link up with it being so close to Christmas. Our next Talented Tuesday link party will be on the 30th December! Make sure to follow us below and keep up to date with what we are getting up to over the Christmas period. 🙂
Last week was the first party where we shared our favourite linked up features and had a most popular link too. We hope you enjoyed the variety of posts that were linked up! So here we are again for Week 3! Share the party (and your link) as much as possible..maybe you will be featured next week 🙂 The Talented Tuesday Party is the place where we come together to share any projects that we have been working on. Make sure to check back every Tuesday to see lots of different link ups!
