Talented Tuesday Link Party – No.8

2

Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 8!

This week, we have all been busy sharing little bits of Christmas with you all… you may notice that our hostess projects for this week are themed because it’s almost CHRISTMAS!!  I am preparing for our parents and my brother to visit for 3 weeks.  Though they are not staying with us, we have still tried to be as Christmassy as possible.  Adam’s parents arrive tonight and mine arrive tomorrow with my brother.  :-0 Next week, we are skipping a link up with it being so close to Christmas.  Our next Talented Tuesday link party will be on the 30th December!  Make sure to follow us below and keep up to date with what we are getting up to over the Christmas period.  🙂

Welcome to our very first Talented Tuesday Link Party!

If you have a passion for DIY, sewing, baking, crafting, cooking, up cycling….basically anything to do with making… then this is the place for you!

We want to see your posts that showcase your amazing talents.

I am so excited to be co-hosting this fantastic link party with the lovely ladies above.  Every Tuesday @ 9am Central, we will come together to give you a chance to link up your posts and have a look at what we have been up to.  We will also feature a post that we loved from the posts that were linked up during the previous party.  We will even make a big deal out of the post that has the most clicks 🙂

Have a read through, click a few links and share your post at the bottom of the page!

Ooooh an estate sale!

It was last Sunday.  It was miserable outside and we were fed up of being inside.  We set off out to find some antique stores to look around. I had seen a place online called Olde Mobile Antiques Gallery and it turned out that it was just around the corner from us!  We got there and it was shut.  I was sad but I should have known as it was a Sunday 🙁  When we returned home, I found Olde Mobile on Facebook and got terribly excited when I found out they were holding their monthly estate sale on Friday!  I have never been to an estate sale, and we had just picked up the truck which meant I could go on the opening day.  This made me very happy and I even got out of bed before 8am!

I headed down to the sale around 10:30am.  By this time, it had already been open for a couple of hours and the car park was packed!  As I walked through the car park, there were many people coming out with bags and boxes full of goodies.  I really didn’t know where to start when I got in.  I certainly didn’t think it was going to be as big as it was and it was a little overwhelming for a first time estate sale attendee like myself.

NEW LINK UP – SUNDAY SEVENS!!

Sunday Sevens

I had an idea for a blog post, involving my life and photography.  Then I thought that I would share this idea with you to see if anyone else fancied joining in!  Hopefully, it will be more than just me doing it 🙂

One photo taken per day of the week.  That photo must portray a little bit of your life.  It might be sewing, baking, reading….but it can also be other things too!  Blogs are great as you get to search for posts and topics that you are interested in.  We gain little bits of knowledge about the author of the blog but not too much; it’s almost always related to the post being written!  However, my little bloggeroos, we do things everyday that are worthwhile but they just won’t make a blogpost.
