So we are more than half way through the year and I’m only on my fifth Sunday Sevens post! At least they are still going though…and I keep seeing a few other bloggers do their posts regularly so that’s always nice to see too.
I feel like recently I’ve done more sewing than I have done in a while so I think I’m starting to get back into the swing of things. I’ve got a few future projects lined up that I’m excited to dig into. I’ve been trying to get things done while Rosie takes her afternoon nap but sometimes she joins me by the sewing table as you will see below. Here’s a couple of mid project photos. Both projects will be blogged about soon!
I’ve still been going to my Fit Mama workout classes fairly regularly. Again, I love that I can take Rosie along with me and she can have a roll next to me. The other older children seem to like to entertain her too. I’ve also posted one of the workouts we did last week. I had to snap a photo as this was one that I really enjoyed so I’ve already done it a couple more times at home.
Buzz is still Rosie’s best mate. He loves to be RIGHT next to her and she loves to reach for him.
She is really developing her own little personality and I love to see her playing and having fun.
Even though I’m working out and trying to stay healthy, we still have the occasional treat in the form of frozen custard. We get a drive through order and then go round the corner to the bay and watch the sunset. It’s just beautiful to watch and the Whit’s is delicious!
We’ve not had to purposefully drive anywhere to get Rosie to go to sleep but she has started to fall asleep as soon as we pull into our neighborhood. This means that I often get to sit in the truck for 20 minutes until she wakes up as I’m not going to wake a sleeping baby!
At some point, I’ll be writing separate posts with all the handmade items that Rosie has been given but in the meantime, here’s a little peek at some toys my Mum knitted for her and sent over to us. They are adorable!
Sunday Sevens is a weekly blog series that YOU can join in with at any time! You can do a post every week or just when you fancy 🙂 Display 7 (or more!) photographs from your week; just to let your readers know what else you get up to between those bigger blog posts. There’s even an image to grab for your sidebar!
My goodness how she has grown! Well done you, for getting out and exercising and sewing…. I used to think I did well if I was actually dressed in the afternoon!
