Sunday Sevens #60

As Sunday Sevens posts go, my post this week is a bit of a fail. Firstly, I’m posting on Monday and secondly, I only have 5 photos! I was fighting a cold last week so I spent 3 days sat on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. 😦 Much better now though 🙂

1. We haven’t eaten Yorkshire Puddings for a while so I made us a Toad In The Hole 🙂

Untitled2. Maisy has developed a habit of barking constantly when we eat at our table…if we pull her a chair out to sit with us, she stops straight away! I know, we do spoil her!

3. I’ve picked my next make.

4. We hit the comic book store sale on Saturday and got quite a few bargains!

5. Somebody makes a great cushion! 🙂

Sunday Sevens is a weekly blog series that YOU can join in with at any time!  You can do a post every week or just when you fancy 🙂  Display 7 photographs from your week; just to let your readers know what else you get up to between those bigger blog posts.  There’s even an image to grab for your sidebar!

  1. Maisy’s photo sat at the table really made me laugh! You need to make her a bib for when she’s sat there! Hope you’re feeling better, looking forward to seeing your new frock! 🙂

  2. Glad you’re feeling better! I had to laugh at Maisy sitting at the table, too; we had a cat that used to do that. A new sewing project and new books–looks like you’ve got a great week ahead.

  3. Definitely a spoiled dog, just look at her smug little face in both those pictures! She’s obviously pleased with how her training is going – you and Adam are very obedient!

    1. Oh she knows! I think dogs are very clever when it comes to getting what they want! My only wish is that we could do better in training her not to try chasing squirrels 😳😳

  4. Hope you’re all better very soon! In the meantime, reviewing these pics of your boss (Maisy, who else) should bring you a smile. HAHA! She is adorable. Your next dress looks lovely, the front seam/dart area looks to be very flattering, can’t wait to see it!

  5. Toad in the hole looks delicious – definitely comfort food time of year here now! Maisy clearly has you wrapped around her little finger! She just likes to feel involved haha! Hope you are feeling back to normal very soon and hope to see some sewing makes in your post very soon 😊
