Happy New Year everyone! Thank you so much for all of your anniversary wishes 🙂 We enjoyed Las Vegas a lot, we walked a lot and now we are resting a lot to recover! I hope you’ve all had a great start so far to 2016…I know we have!
1. This was the view from our room. 😀 We were very lucky when we arrived as we had been upgraded to an executive suite! It had 2 bathrooms!! :-O
2. It was really nice to be able to eat out for every meal, particularly breakfast. No food picture but a selfie that Adam didn’t want to us to take at breakfast but I’m glad I took it now as it’s quite a nice picture of us both, even though it is a little blurry!
3. We did A LOT of walking to avoid ridiculous taxi costs. I think we did just over 22 miles over 3 days. My legs have ached all week! It was quite cold but it was nice to see some of the views in the clear fresh air!
4. We had a lovely bowl of chilli to warm us up for lunch one day and we got a jalapeño muffin to accompany it – something I’ve never eaten. It was strangely nice!
5. We also had lovely cocktails and took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer! 😀
6. The rest of this week has been spent chilling out, relaxing and playing board games in our pyjamas.
7. And we’ve also been training our new little puppy!!!!
Meet Buzz! A 5 month old Westie brother for Maisy 🙂 Maisy is already in love with him and won’t leave his side…she just needs to help him learn to pee outside now!

Thank you! Nope, I had kept Buzz quiet as we weren’t exactly sure when we were getting him! Vegas was very fun, we can’t wait to go back 😀

yes we are very relieved! It was surprisingly quiet in vegas, maybe the time of the year?! As we left, it was just starting to get busier though and all the hotels were starting to set up for New Year parties!
Vegas looks AMAZING! How did you manage to wangle a room upgrade?! I’m intrigued! Looks like you had a lovely visit, I bet it was a great post-Christmas break.
Buzz looks like a little sweetheart, I bet Maisy loves having a playmate! It will be interesting to hear how having a boy AND a girl is, I wonder if they’ll have different temperaments? So much to look forward to with them 🐶🐶
They just gave it to us – we had paid extra anyway for a ‘south strip’ view but those rooms were all full and they only had executive suites left! We were very surprised! It was nice to get away for a few days 🙂 Already we can see a big difference in temperaments…Buzz is a lapdog and very cuddly!
Not having to cook is one of my favourite bits about holidays too. Welcome to Buzz! I’m sure he’ll be only too pleased to help Maisy keep you on your toes 🙂

OH THE CUTENESS! Two Westies may be more than I can take! I like the pic of the two of you, but my favorite has to be the one of you having a drink. Your expression is what makes it: “I’m having a cocktail in Vegas!?!”
They are adorable together! They are already best friends, well for most of the time anyway! Yes, that’s exactly what I was thinking with the cocktail 😀
I was enjoying Vegas but then Buzz turned up and stole the show! Can’t wait to see all the fun that those 2 have!
