Whoops! Sunday went by much quicker than expected and I didn’t get the chance to post! Monday sevens is just as good though 🙂
1. We had some ripe bananas so I whipped up a batch of banana choc chip muffins. They were gorgeous!
We’ve had a good little week in our corner of the world 🙂 The sale of our house in the UK finally went through so it really has felt like a huge weight has been lifted! Adam ended up having a day off work mid week, which was lovely but really seemed to knock my days about. Anyway, here are my 7 photographs!
1. After a training session last Saturday, we are going back to crate training with Maisy to help with toilet training and separation issues. We are trying to get her to feel comfy in her crate so we are putting her in for her daytime naps. It’s hard because she cries but she has already been so much better in the house and we have left her alone for a few hours without her destroying anything or making a mess! I feel like training is going in the right direction. 🙂
Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 26!
Wow! I feel like this post is a bit of a milestone…we have been hosting this party for half a year now!! Isn’t that great? It really doesn’t seem that long since we started the party!
That being said, unfortunately Meaghan from Cook Craft Love can no longer host with us 😦 A huge thanks must go to Meaghan for hosting over the last 6 months – I wish her well in her future ventures 🙂 So that means we are looking for a new hostess!! If you think you would be up for it, let me know and I can point you in the right direction…over to Kristina!

Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 12!
Last week was super busy for us at home, so I publicly apologising for lack of social media and blog posts! We are currently selling our house back in the UK and we totally underestimated how complicated it would be! We are hoping that all the paperwork is now done and dusted, for now anyway! In between emails and phone calls, I managed to get a couple of items made and we had a lovely Saturday by the bay.
Keep linking up and showing off your talents! I love spending time reading all the things you guys are sharing with us… thank you!

Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 11!
I loved last week’s link up! There were so many great posts and so much talent was displayed! I’ve been back into the swing of blogging this week and have got a couple of things made too. I don’t know about you, but I always have so many ideas buzzing about in my head… I just don’t know where to start. I think we all have an endless craft list!
Before we link up, I just need to remind everyone about one of the rules to the link party that seems to be forgotten frequently, only 3 links per blogger please!
We really love to see what everyone links up, but please respect your fellow bloggers and our rules.
I’ve just realised that I have been a little quiet on the blog over the last week or so. I’ve actually been overwhelmed with projects, and I have been quite busy trying to get things finished.
A few weeks ago I borrowed Lola Nova’s book from the library. This isn’t a sponsored post…I’ve included a link for if anyone wants to look at it! It has some great projects in it and has a bit of a bohemian feel to it. Lovely photography and fabrics. I used one of the projects in the book as inspiration for my patchwork bathmat. There was also a couple of bag projects that I wanted to have a go at.
I needed a bag to take to the library, to hold any books or DVD’s that we are checking out or returning. At the moment, I am using a foldaway bag from H&M. The pouch for the bag is quite modern and has a geometric print on it. However, the actual bag is just a thin black polyester. Adam says that it is ugly and he sighs every time I use it! The Vagabond bag in the Lola Nova book seems like a perfect bag for library visits. The only thing that put me off was the bias binding; I declared my hate for it here, but I was prepared to give it another go.
