Sunday Sevens #19

I’ve been productive this week…pictures for proof! 😀

1. We tried out the Risk game that I bought Adam for Christmas. I thought it would be quite boring but I actually really like it! :-0

2. 2 completed pairs of Margot pyjama shorts…to be blogged about shortly.

3. I replied to my mountain of penpal letters with a cup of honey & lavender tea.

4. I also made an effort with the envelopes I sent out. I used my envelope template to make one out of wrapping paper.

5. I then received a lovely envelope from a penpal with cupcake themed goodies!

6. These bags had been cut out before Christmas but I just haven’t had the time to get them finished until this week.

  1. What a lovely lake! I miss living near water (grew up with a creek outside my window) and our town has no distinctive natural features such as a lake or river. So pretty!

  2. OMG my Grandma used to have Risk. I guess she still has it… an older version than yours of course… I never knew how to play! It looks hard :/
“Picnic on the bay and a walk on the beach” makes me sad 😦 it’s freezing over here!!

    1. It took us a while to get going with it but we both really enjoyed it. It’s just one of those games that takes a few hours to play. We ended up ‘pausing’ half way through!

  3. Penpals – such a lovely way to keep the art of letter writing alive. I love your creative envelopes; I’m sure the recipients love to open something so special.
