Sunday Sevens 2018 #2

Well, this week for us has been a homey one. It reached -7°c at one point, which is the coldest it’s been here in Alabama while I’ve lived here! There was also a ‘State of Emergency’ issued for the flu epidemic. We decided to stay at home all week and get cosy by the fire. Rosie and I spent most of the week in our loungewear!

We did get almost 1/2″ of snow…an almost laughable amount but it turned to ice very quickly and wreaked havoc on the roads. It took Adam over 2 hours to get to work one morning.

I started to sew up something for the dogs this week. Buzz did not keep still long enough for me to fit it properly so we’ll just have to wing it and hope for the best.

During Rosie’s fussy evenings we’ve decided to watch some of the dvds that we have not yet watched. We’re currently enjoying The Pacific and the dogs are enjoying the sofa cuddles.

Buzz was due for his check up at the vets and Maisy needed to get some medication too so we had a family trip up there. Normally we strap them in little seats in the back but now we’ve got a car seat in the truck, they have to sit at my feet.

Rosie’s closet needed a big sort out as she’s grown out of many newborn clothes *sob*. She’s now got a lovely selection of 0-3 month outfits to choose from.

  1. Aw, outgrown her newborn things already – it’ll be no time before you’re buying her school uniform, believe me! Lucky you avoiding the ‘flu – I haven’t come across anyone who has been so lucky over here. Stay in and stay warm:)

  2. Aw lovely pics. Nice that your all keeping cosy. Have seen snow myself recently…but only because we have been in the lake district. Keep toasty. X
