Well, this week for us has been a homey one. It reached -7°c at one point, which is the coldest it’s been here in Alabama while I’ve lived here! There was also a ‘State of Emergency’ issued for the flu epidemic. We decided to stay at home all week and get cosy by the fire. Rosie and I spent most of the week in our loungewear!
We did get almost 1/2″ of snow…an almost laughable amount but it turned to ice very quickly and wreaked havoc on the roads. It took Adam over 2 hours to get to work one morning.
I started to sew up something for the dogs this week. Buzz did not keep still long enough for me to fit it properly so we’ll just have to wing it and hope for the best.
During Rosie’s fussy evenings we’ve decided to watch some of the dvds that we have not yet watched. We’re currently enjoying The Pacific and the dogs are enjoying the sofa cuddles.
Buzz was due for his check up at the vets and Maisy needed to get some medication too so we had a family trip up there. Normally we strap them in little seats in the back but now we’ve got a car seat in the truck, they have to sit at my feet.
Rosie’s closet needed a big sort out as she’s grown out of many newborn clothes *sob*. She’s now got a lovely selection of 0-3 month outfits to choose from.

Rosie is growing so fast. It looks as thou the dogs are becoming accustom to their new baby sister. Stay well. The flu has been nasty this year.
She sure is growing! The flu has been nasty, it sounds as though it’s the same everywhere though. We are trying our best to avoid it!
Aw, outgrown her newborn things already – it’ll be no time before you’re buying her school uniform, believe me! Lucky you avoiding the ‘flu – I haven’t come across anyone who has been so lucky over here. Stay in and stay warm:)
Yes, I bet the time will fly so quickly! We have been lucky. I know so many people who have had it too :-0
Aw lovely pics. Nice that your all keeping cosy. Have seen snow myself recently…but only because we have been in the lake district. Keep toasty. X
Thank you! I still can’t believe we had snow to be honest! It’s back to normal warm weather this week!
Lovely photos. I hope it warms up a bit for you soon brrrr -7 sounds very chilly!
Thank you! Yes, it was so cold…even the dogs weren’t staying outside for very long.
Oh delightful photos and your little dog jacket looks wonderful.
Thank you! I’ve got a couple of things to add to this jacket and then I’ll make another for Maisy. 🙂
