For quite a while I’ve been pinning photos of gorgeous entranceways and porches that are just scrumptious!  I particularly love how artwork and photographs can change the mood of a place and make a home feel welcoming.  Our house in the UK had a porch but it was just a place to put your coats and shoes.  We didn’t really get chance to make our entrance hallway the way we wanted it either before we came across to the US.  In a few months, we are hoping to move to a bigger place as we are currently in a one bed apartment…with no entrance hallway for me to decorate!

I’m being a bit awkward this week (sorry!) as I have made a new Sunday Sevens image for your lovely sidebars!  I felt the other one wasn’t really appropriate as Sunday Sevens isn’t really a link party…. it is much more of a series!  I haven’t made it into a button though … it’s just an image that you can save and insert into your sidebar as an image widget and link back to this post 🙂

I havent deviated from my plan yet! I am still working systematically through the Love At First Stitch book from Tilly Walnes. The next project in the book is the Megan dress. This is a dress that had appeared on my Twitter and Instagram feed quite a lot recently so I was really looking forward to making one for myself. I didn’t have any medium weight cottons in so chose firm woven polyester knits for both makes!
