Scrapbooking Attempt 1

scrapbok part 1

The thought of me losing all my digital photographs fills me with dread.  It happened when we moved house.  I lost the hard drive where I stored all of our holiday photos.  I turned our house and the garage upside down and then blamed my Adam & my Mum for putting it somewhere and losing it.  It was upsetting but not as bad as it could have been as luckily, I had uploaded a lot of photos onto private albums on Facebook.  Interestingly enough, when my Mum was packing our house contents to be shipped to us…she found it!  I apologised to everyone.

Sunday Sevens #24 – The Weekly Blog Series

I’m being a bit awkward this week (sorry!) as I have made a new Sunday Sevens image for your lovely sidebars!  I felt the other one wasn’t really appropriate as Sunday Sevens isn’t really a link party…. it is much more of a series!  I haven’t made it into a button though … it’s just an image that you can save and insert into your sidebar as an image widget and link back to this post 🙂

This image is 300 x 300 so you may need to scale it down to suit your widget/post!

If you are here for the first time… I’m going to give you the low down on the Sunday Sevens blog series.  Each week, we do things that don’t necessarily warrant a full blog post.  You may have made a nice meal, grabbed some bargains on a shopping trip, had a family day out, spotted some beautiful scenery or just done something you feel you want to share.  A Sunday Sevens blog post is the place to share those things.  You take 7 images from your week and post them every Sunday with a small description.  Tag your post using #sundaysevens on your blog and social media.  I also pin the posts onto the Sunday Sevens Pinterest Board.

Sunday Sevens #21

This is a bit of a late one today…it is still Sunday in the USA though! I really can’t believe it is February today! Already!! This week has been a strange one as things have been quiet on the paperwork/ sorting side of things. Visa paperwork has been submitted and we just have to wait. Our UK house is on the market so we just have to wait for viewings. We have also sorted the container to ship our belongings over the the US; we just have to wait for them. I don’t like waiting. I like to be in control of everything and I can’t control any of these things. It has actually been nice to just catch up with a few things this week!

1. On Sunday, we visited an antique store on the other side of the bay. It has always intrigued me as it is called “Alice’s Wonderland”! What a great name! They had some gorgeous stuff in but I held back and only purchased a couple of vintage Hoover Dam postcards. I am building my collection of vintage PC’s, mainly of places we have visited.

Week 20! Wow! I had a quick look back through the last 19 #sundaysevens posts and felt really happy that I had shared all of those photos. I started the Sunday Sevens blog series so that we bloggers could share 7 photos from our week. The photos don’t necessarily have to link to your blogging theme but are just to show your readers other aspects of your life! Please share the word about Sunday Sevens, JOIN IN and don’t forget to grab the picture below for your sidebar (sorry it isn’t a button!).

The Pinterest board is here….give me a nudge if I haven’t linked your post up!
