After making 3 dresses in a week, I was itching to make another to see if I could push myself to 4! 🙂  I looked in my pattern stash and decided to go vintage as I hadn’t done a vintage make for quite a while.  I ended up choosing the one that I thought would the quickest make; the New Look Maudella 6517.  This one also counts towards my vintage pledge.  I can’t find the pattern anywhere online for an actual release date but from looking at other pattern covers and illustrations I think it might be late 70s/ early 80s…which is now classed as vintage isn’t it? If anyone does know when this pattern was made, please let me know!

Wow! I feel like this post is a bit of a milestone…we have been hosting this party for half a year now!! Isn’t that great?  It really doesn’t seem that long since we started the party!

That being said, unfortunately Meaghan from Cook Craft Love can no longer host with us 😦 A huge thanks must go to Meaghan for hosting over the last 6 months – I wish her well in her future ventures 🙂 So that means we are looking for a new hostess!! If you think you would be up for it, let me know and I can point you in the right direction…over to Kristina!

 Welcome to Talented Tuesday No. 21!

Wooops!  I’m a little late to the party this week due to puppy drama!  Nothing bad though…Maisy does not let me do anything at the moment so getting a shower and getting dressed takes twice as long.  This week I decided to display my homemade sugar scrubs.  I’m still super impressed with them!  Each time I use them in the shower, the whole apartment smells like lemon or peppermint!  Make sure to check all the hostess projects out and scoot over to the other hostess blogs too.  Each of us pick 3 different features each week 🙂
