Well, I’m very late to the party with my Sunday Sevens for this week! We have just got in after collecting Adam’s parents from the airport so the last couple of days have been busy, busy, busy!! I apologise in advance for any comments, replies or Pinterest pins that may be late ๐
Here are my seven photos from last week:
1/2. Target has up’ed their game with their dollar spot area. It was so much easier to find nice things when I visited this week; I couldn’t resist these doggy jumpers for $3 each! As you can see, Maisy is still working out whether or not she likes to wear them.
3. My dress is almost finished, even though I’ve had many barriers to overcome with the pattern. I had to abandon all facings as the ones cut out didn’t match the actual dress!
4. My new metal invisible zipper foot came and I am in love with it already!
5. We made a batch of cookies and they didn’t last long! I never saw cookie dough in rolls in the UK (do they sell it??) so I’m amazed with the dough that you can just buy and roll into balls!
6. I took this photo because this is the one of the first times I’ve actually seen Adam cut fries! Of course they ended up tasting a lot better than mine…in his opinion anyway!
7. To finish off, this is more-or-less how Maisy has woken up everyday this week. Huge bedhead and a look that says “Do we really have to get up?!”

How cute are those doggie jumpers! ๐ I’ve never seen cookie rolls in UK, genius.
They are genius! Very easy to make and so tasty too ๐
Maisy’s looking very festive, and cute as ever. The cookie dough sounds a great idea, I bet that’s what they use at those cookie stands in shopping centres but I’ve never seen them here either. Hope the in laws enjoy their stay. ๐
Ha she doesn’t seem to like being festive
I thought the same about the cookie stands; these are so easy to make and taste just like homemade cookies…I will be buying the dough again!
Maisy really is the star this week! Great Christmas doggy jumper and her still-half-asleep expression is so cute:)
She seems to be very cute with all of her fluffy hair at the moment – she still doesn’t like the doggy jumpers though!
Love the idea of cookies you bake at home. I have made up dough and kept it in the freezer – it is handy but buying it is so much easier
I’ve done the freezer dough before too but this stuff seems sooo much easier! And they are very tasty too ๐
Nothing makes me smile more than seeing a dog in a jumper! ๐ Love his new attire!
Great dog jumpers. Love her bed head. Give her a hug from me.
I think they are great too, she is still coming around to wearing them! Her bed head needs to be brushed most mornings…it’s worse than mine some days! ๐
What a shame that your dress has been a struggle! I hope the worst is over and the work will pay off. I kind of love the British habit of using “collecting” for picking up people; it always sounds to me like gathering up inanimate objects, so using it with people strikes me as pleasantly goofy. As you know, I’m all about the goofy. ๐
Haha I never thought of about the use of the word ‘collecting’ but now you’ve told me, it does seem odd! I’ve put the dress to one side for now, so hopefully when I pick it up again in a couple of weeks, I will feel more positive about it. ๐
