It’s been a much better week this week! We are settled in our new apartment and I have started organising a few things. I haven’t set up a sewing area yet but managed to get a little fix in 🙂
1. It rained, and rained, and rained…all week! I had a couple of hours stressing as I was worried that this puddle was going to come onto the porch!
2. Puppy training is still interesting. I’m doing all the instructions in the book but Maisy is very stubborn and only does it when she is interested!
3. I got a little more of my cross stitch done 🙂
4. We have limited kitchen cupboard space in the new kitchen so I was pleased to get most food items into one double cupboard. I’m trying to remember what we have coming across to us in the container so I don’t have to move everything again when it arrives.
5. All ‘current’ belongings have been sorted into two ‘closets’…I still can’t get used to saying that word! This is the room I want as a sewing room so everything will need to be organised again at some point.
6. We received an AMAZING wedding package from Camilla (Making & Marking), Barry, Wilf & Oliver!! So great that I’m not revealing the contents yet…they may even have their own blog post 🙂 or be revealed on Sunday Sevens as they are used! There were even a couple of gifts for Maisy too!
7. Maisy had her first full puppy cut! She was desperate for it as all her fluffy fur was getting matted and covered in all sorts. I didn’t realise how skinny she was under all of her fluff!
If you are here for the first time… I’m going to give you the low down on the Sunday Sevens blog series. Each week, we do things that don’t necessarily warrant a full blog post. You may have made a nice meal, grabbed some bargains on a shopping trip, had a family day out, spotted some beautiful scenery or just done something you feel you want to share. A Sunday Sevens blog post is the place to share those things. You take 7 images from your week and post them every Sunday with a small description. Tag your post using #sundaysevens on your blog and social media. I also pin the posts onto the Sunday Sevens Pinterest Board.
Some really lovely photos this week – Maisy is just the cutest thing and how tiny underneath the fur! I can tell what the cross stitch is going to be now! Can’t wait for the big wedding presents reveal. How many other Americanisms have you adopted?
We couldn’t believe it either…I don’t think Adam can get used to her not being fluffy though!
I’m trying not to pick up any really but I have started to say trash instead of rubbish! I also have to think carefully about the pronunciation of words so that people can understand me over here! It’s certainly harder than I thought!
I can’t believe how rainy it has been for you! Hopefully the sun will shine soon. I’m looking forward to seeing your sewing area all set up and have my fingers crossed your stuff gets through customs very soon!
I have my fingers crossed too! I just can’t wait to get everything unpacked 🙂 The forecast looks better for later this week so I’m hoping we will get some sun later this week…for once you’ve had better weather than us 🙂
We have had some beautiful sunshine over here in the UK for the past couple of weeks 😛
Your cross stitch is looking good now with the eyes 🙂
I know!!! My Mum Skyped me while she was sat in the garden – very jealous! I’m hoping that the rain stops soon 🙂
Glad to hear you had a better week and that things are getting organized. I LOL every time I see a picture of Maisy, but this week’s one was particularly adorable. Have a great week!
Yes we are – I feel much better now that things are actually in cupboards! Maisy is cute & adorable but she has certainly tested us this week!
Such a cute dog shot 🙂 Hope the rain stops soon for you.
Thank you 🙂 I’m hoping so too!!
It looks like you’re getting sorted, and it doesn’t look like the move have unsettle Maisey! She is one amazingly cute puppy!
She is very cute but I do think that I’m slightly biased! I do feel like we are slowly getting there…we are just dying for a sit on a sofa now!!
That is a lot of rain! And good luck with puppy training 🙂
